1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser. They allow remembering preferences, session state, statistics — and for price comparison sites such as ours — also affiliate commission settlement.
2. What cookies do we use?
We divide cookies into three categories. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Manage consent" in the footer.
| Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session operation, remembering cookie consent, security (CSRF). Always active. | 12 months |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (conversion sources, behavior) + Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps + session replays — anonymous navigation recordings, help improve UX). Cookies loaded only after consent. Consent required. | 2–13 months |
| Affiliate (third-party) | Cookies set by partner stores (Eneba, Kinguin, Awin, Admitad…) after clicking "Buy at X". Allow us to receive commission from purchases. Consent required. | 30–60 days |
3. Essential cookies — details
respawnkey-cookies-v2(localStorage, not a cookie) — remembers cookie preferences.__Host-session— logged-in user session (if you have an account). HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict.
4. Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4
After you consent to analytics cookies, we load the Google Analytics 4 script (gtag.js). It helps us understand which pages are popular, which search paths lead to purchases, and which offers convert best. Data is pseudonymized (no full IP address, no name/surname).
Data processor: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Data transfer to the USA occurs under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Full details: Google Privacy Policy.
Minimization measures:
- Google Consent Mode v2 — gtag.js does not store any cookies before explicit consent (default
analytics_storage: denied). anonymize_ip: true— IP address truncated by the last octet before sending to Google.- Google Signals disabled — no cross-device tracking, no demographic data transfer to Google Ads.
- Advertising Features disabled — no personalized ads, no remarketing audiences.
- Data retention 2 months — minimum window required for trend analysis; raw data is removed afterwards.
- Cookies
_ga,_ga_*are removed immediately after consent withdrawal (click "Manage consent" → Reject).
Cookies: _ga (client identifier, up to 2 years), _ga_<container_id> (session identifier, up to 2 years). With active Consent Mode v2, written ONLY after consent.
4a. Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps + session replay)
As a complement to GA4, we use Microsoft Clarity — a user behavior analysis tool (click heatmaps, anonymous session recordings). It helps us understand HOW you use the Service (where you click, where you get confused) and improve UX. Operates under the same consent as GA4 ("Analytics" category).
Data processor: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure region West/North Europe (EU-hosted since 2023). Full details: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Minimization measures:
- By default all input fields (passwords, emails, forms) are masked in recordings — Clarity never sees the content.
- Default
clarity('consent', false)in bootstrap — without consent it records nothing. - No ad personalization, no cross-site tracking.
- Data retention configurable (default 13 months, can be shortened in Clarity Settings).
Cookies: _clck (user ID, 1 year), _clsk (session, 1 day). Written ONLY after consent.
5. Third-party cookies — details
After clicking "Buy at X" you are redirected to the partner store. The store may set its own cookies — we have no control over them. Selected partner cookie policies:
6. How to manage cookies?
You have several options:
- On our Service — click "Manage consent" in the footer.
- In your browser — you can delete cookies or block acceptance at any time. Note that this may affect Service functionality (e.g., no preference remembering).
